Break A Leg: Actors Return To Ringwood Stage

RINGWOOD, N.J. – Community theater is returning to the New Weis Center for Education, Arts and Recreation in Ringwood this Friday.

For its second performance at the center, the Ringwood-based Iron Mountain Stage Company will be performing the comedy “Men Are Dogs” by Joe Simonelli.

The two non-profits established a partnership last year to provide a permanent home for the theater company to rehearse and perform, while also bringing arts programming to the area.

Opening night for “Men Are Dogs” is Friday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m., with five more performances to follow. The playwright will be on hand during the Saturday, Sept. 23, performance to talk about the play and field questions.

Performance dates are: Friday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 21, at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m.
