Calling Pompton Lakes Veterans: Dinner Is Being Served

POMPTON LAKES, N.J. – Veterans who have lived or worked in Pompton Lakes during the past 70 years are invited to a complementary dinner at the Pompton Lakes VFW Hall.

Veterans of all branches of the military are encouraged to attend and meet with fellow veterans.

The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 5-8 p.m. at the hall located at 260 Wanaque Ave.

Dinner is free for veterans and their spouses, and $10 for other guests.

Donations will also be accepted, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the event will go toward the Pompton Lakes Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

As seating is limited, reservations must be made by Nov. 7. For reservations or other information, call or text Frank at 973-650-0149.
