The 16th-annual event will take place on Wanaque Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Last year's show brought out 270 different cars, according to Art Kafka, Pompton Lakes Chamber of Commerce president. Space quickly ran out on the street as the vehicles arrived.
More than 100 cars were already registered for this year, with the number expected to reach the same level as 2014, Kafka said.
The event marks one of the biggest of the season in Pompton Lakes, Kafka said.
"It's just a fantastic day when people come out from everywhere," he told Daily Voice. "We have cars come in from all over the tri-state area to show off."
The show also features food vendors, including zeppole makers -- but not many because the space is needed for cars, the chamber president said.
After 10 years at the show himself, Kafka said he still hopes to see a 1967 Firebird, a car he formerly owned.
"I believe what [people] like is the nostalgia of going back in their own minds and saying, 'Oh I had a car like that'," he said.
