Ringwood’s Skylands Manor Opens For Holiday Tours

RINGWOOD, N.J. -- Floor-to-ceiling glitter and greenery will grace a stately Tudor mansion at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens for the holidays.

Skylands Manor will begin its Holiday Open House tours Thursday. Daytime tours and evening champagne receptions are being offered at the manor, where a gift shop and holiday cafe will be open on tour days.

Skylands Manor will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1-4 and for evening receptions from 6-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $10; $8 for seniors; $5 for children ages 6-12; free for children younger than 6.

Skylands Manor, a Tudor Revival mansion, was constructed in the early 20th century for Clarence McKenzie Lewis by architect John Russell Pope. It is off Morris Road in Ringwood.
