Adorable, Abused Roadside Ringwood Pups Need Home

RINGWOOD, N.J. — A Ringwood animal rescue foundation is seeking homes for two, 12-week-old puppies that were dumped in a ditch on the side of the road in Mississippi.

One of the lab mixes has severe burn on his back that takes up his entire body. The rescue is not sure what caused the burn but suspect it was intentional.

"Even given the abuse the two have suffered their tails were still wagging and they came right over for a kiss when they were rescued by our sister shelter," Southern Paws Founder Ashley Gardenier formerly of Ramsey said.

"They are beautiful souls these two little babies and they did not let an ounce of the abuse they have endured stifle their sparkle."

Tom and Jerry are playful, sweet, gentle and just want to be snuggled. They are expected to be large with a lot of energy.
