Date For Bloomingdale Fishing Contest Shifted

BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- The date of Bloomingdale's 16th annual kids trout fishing contest has been moved, due to a forecast for bad weather.

Kids can compete this Sunday in a rescheduled fishing competition.

The borough, in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 7, noted that the competition will now be on Sunday, April 10, at 11 a.m., instead of Saturday at 10 a.m.

The contest is at Bogue Pond, and is for kids from 1 to 14 years old. Arrive a half-hour early to register, and bring your own bait and tackle.
