Ramapo College Banner Immortalized In Record Setting Pole Vault

MAHWAH, N.J. — Millions of eyes have watched a high school sophomore from Louisianna clear a 19-foot pole and broke a world record in a video going viral on Facebook.

That means those 12.8 million people have also seen the Ramapo College banner, which is hanging in the background of the shot when Armand "Mondo" Duplantis made history.

The event was held at the New Balance National Indoor Championships on Saturday at the New York City Armory, where Ramapo College's banner hangs.

Duplantis set a record of 5.82m 19-01.00. The Olympic record is 19-9.25 and the world record is 20-2.50.
