CLIFTON, N.J. – A 7-year-old boy violated his Clifton Catholic school’s policy against boys having long hair, so he could donate his locks to kids with cancer, NYPost.com reports.

Kaleb Ramos withstood bullying from other children, and defied teachers at St. Philip in Clifton to grow his hair down his back, his mom told NYPost.com.

She eventually removed her son from the school over the policy and other issues, the story says. And this week Kaleb cut his hair, so he could donate 12 inches, the story says.
