The borough received 13 bids for the project. Fitzpatrick& Son was the lowest bidder at $676,317 while the high bid was over $1.2 million, NorthJersey.com reported.
Mayor Jonathan Dunleavy said the RFP was necessary because of a $220,000 state grant that was attched to the project, NorthJersey.com said.
