BLOOMINGDALE, N.J. -- The Bloomingdale mayor and council said they need more information before they can move forward on a proposal to expand quarry operations on Federal Hill, northjersey.com reported.

The council is waiting on reports from experts hired to determine the economic, demographic and fiscal impacts of Tilcon's expansion proposal.

 Bloomingdale Mayor Jonathan Dunleavy said the borough has been discussing the Meer Tract site with Tilcon for almost three years.
