Wanaque Library Starts 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Program

WANAQUE, N.J. -- A reading program for children from birth to age 5 will begin at the Wanque Public Library on Monday, March 14.

Simple fact: If you read only one book at bedtime every night for three years, you will have read 1,095 books. If you read three books a day or any family member who is reading to a baby/child, it will total 1,095 books in only one year.

There will be reading-prize incentives throughout the program and book of your choice (of up to $15 value) for your child’s home library collection upon completion.
