BEYOND BERGEN: An airline pilot grabbed a 20-year-old Harlem man and held him for police after he ran through a security checkpoint and out a door at JFK Airport early this morning, Port Authority police said.
Police who took Claudio Duran into custody around 6 a.m. found that he drove to JFK in a white 2014 Isuzu truck reported stolen two hours earlier in Manhattan, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.
Duran was charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property and two trespassing counts.
There were no injuries, he said.
