Lodi man charged with waving ninja swords in domestic dispute

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 22-year-old Lodi man was subdued by families members and later arrested by police after he grabbed two 24-inch “ninja-style” swords and began swinging them during a domestic dispute, authorities said.

John Mamaril Jr. was ordered held on $20,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession.

Officers David Delia and Danyelle Blocker responded to yesterday’s call on Trudy Drive, seized the swords and took Mamaril into custody, Detective Capt. Donald Scorzetti told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
