Thomas Peklowski was released without bail pending a court hearing, Capt. Ken Fackina told Daily Voice.

Several unlocked vehicles were entered in the early morning hours on July 25, Fackina said.

Detective Ed Shroeder investigated and arrested Pelkowski last Friday and charged him with burglary, theft, credit card theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

"Please remember to remove valuables from your vehicles and to lock your doors at all times," Fackina told residents. "It only takes seconds for someone to steal items from unlocked vehicles."
