Wanaque Police Team With Ringwood Police For 2016 Junior Police Academy

WANAQUE, N.J. — Children in Wanaque interested in law enforcement will have a chance to learn firsthand from the men and women in blue this summer.

The Wanaque Police Department is partnering with the Ringwood Police Department for the 2016 Junior Police Academy.

The event will run from Aug. 8-12 at Lakeland Regional High School and is open to youngsters entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the fall.

The academy will include physical training, drill and ceremony, criminal investigation, motor vehicle enforcement and more. 

Space is expected to be limited and applications are both available and required.
