Witnesses: 100MPH Jaguar Racing From GWB Crashes On Route 46 In Fort Lee

FORT LEE, N.J. -- A Jaguar driver who witnesses said was drag-racing a Mercedes at an estimated 100 miles an hour down westbound Route 46 survived a crash in Fort Lee late Wednesday.

The Jaguar was coming from the George Washington Bridge when it barreled off the roadway and smashed into a truck parked in a lot across from the Wendy's and Dunkin' Donuts around 11 p.m., witnesses told Daily Voice.

There was no immediate word on summonses.
