Northern Valley Students Set For Demarest, Old Tappan 'Trunk Or Treat's

CLOSTER, N.J. -- High school students will decorate their car trunks and distribute candy to younger children at both Northern Valley high schools on Oct. 27.

The Northern Valley Coalition has been working with local schools, police departments and PTOs to schedule the alcohol- and substance-free Trunk or Treat events, which will run from 5:15 to 7 p.m., rain or shine.

Donations of wrapped Halloween candy are being accepted at Closter police headquarters at 295 Closter Dock Road in anticipation of the free events.
