Bochner met Brandon Paasch, 14, a few years ago through fellow members of the motorcycle community.

"We knew him as this little kid who was faster than all the adults," Bochner told Daily Voice.

Brandon has the opportunity to race with Spanish CEV Moto 3, one of the top groups around. Bochner heard about the opportunity and wanted to help sponsor his trip overseas.

Bonnie Paasch, Brandon's mother, said Bochner has always been there to help out the best he can.

"When we need something we're able to call him up and he's been more than willing to help with anything," she said.

The Ringwood racerl called himself "moto-obsessed" and spends his summer months on a bike, he said.

The help he gives Brandon, though, does not always come in the form of lessons on the racetrack.

"[Brandon's] way better than I am," Bochner said.

Instead Bochner tries to sponsor Brandon's activities either through his audio and video company, or with an online fundraiser he started for the Spain trip.

Brandon said it would be a major milestone for him to race in Spain and he appreciated any help from Bochner.

"It's cool to have somebody that was fast [in races] help me out, teaching me his ways," Brandon said. "He's helped me out a lot."
