PASSAIC COUNTY, N.J. – Didn't get your fill of sun last weekend? You may have to navigate the workweek before good outdoor weather returns to Passaic County.

Rain and possible thunderstorms are possible on Monday afternoon with highs only in the low 60s. Chance of rain is 80 percent.

Scattered showers will linger on Tuesday and mostly cloudy skies will keep things rather gloomy even if the rain stays away. Temperatures will bounce back into the low 70s.

The threat of rain will continue through Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the low 70s.

Friday will be more of the same with the added threat of a potential thunderstorm. Chance of showers on Friday is 30 percent.

The holiday weekend is looking promising, however, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-to-high 70s.
