RINGWOOD, N.J. – The Ramapough Lenape Nation is holding its annual powwow this weekend in Ringwood.
The two-day event will include crafts, traditional food, ceremonies, music and dancing.
The powwow will take place at Sally’s Pond, against a backdrop of the Ramapo Mountains and Ringwood Manor. It runs on Saturday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Suggested donations are: $8 for adults; $3 for children 5-12 years old; and $5 for seniors. Children under 5 are free.
