RINGWOOD, N. J. -- The Ringwood police chief says his department continues to step up efforts to curb speeding and tailgating, though some city officials say dangerous driving still is a problem, NorthJersey.com reported.
Responding to complaints about speeding throughout Ringwood from borough council members, Police Chief Joseph Walker said officers already have stepped up enforcement by writing more citations and using unmarked police cars, NorthJersey.com said.
There's also a special task force in place to help come up other enforcement ideas. Walker noted that police resources are limited, according to NorthJersey.com.
