A Gloucester Township nurse is accused of setting multiple fires Thursday, June 4, including at his apartment, vehicle, and workplace, where employees and patients were inside, authorities said.
Taquan N. Ayers, 25, was arrested and charged in connection arson for fires in Gloucester Township and Winslow Township, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said. Ayers worked as a licensed practical nurse at Oaks Integrated Care, MacAulay said.

Air Quality Alert Issued For 12 NJ Counties, Ozone May Reach Unhealthy Levels
A Code Orange Air Quality Alert has been issued for 12 New Jersey counties on Friday, June 5, as ozone pollution is expected to reach levels that may be unhealthy for sensitive groups, the National Weather Service reports.
The alert will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Union, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties.
