A Capital Region duo has been arrested following a fight with police inside a restaurant, cops said.
Christopher Selig, 46, and Amy Noonan, 48, both of Cohoes, were booked following the altercation Wednesday, July 22 at Emma Jayne’s Restaurant in Halfmoon, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said.
Deputies responded to a disturbance call at the restaurant around 10 p.m. and attempted to place Selig in custody, authorities said.

A Capital Region man tortured dogs and cats at his home, including one pet found dead during a search, authorities said Tuesday, July 28.
Sirell Fiel, 41, of Day, was charged with two counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals; failure to provide proper sustenance, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said.
Deputies searched Fiel’s York Road home on Tuesday, July 21 and found a dead cat and a malnourished dog, investigators said. Four other cats and the dog were seized with a court order, according to authorities.

Drunk NY Driver Who Tried To Hide Open Drink After Deadly Crash Pleads Guilty: Authorities
A Capital Region woman pleaded guilty Monday, July 27 in a deadly drunken car crash last year, authorities said.
Morgan Lange, 34, of Glenville, copped to second-degree vehicular manslaughter and evidence tampering in the death of Joshua Soden on Sept. 8, 2025, the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office said.
Lange was driving with a 0.12 BAC outside Bentley’s Tavern in Ballston Spa when she struck Soden, 30, pinning him under her vehicle, investigators said. She then attempted to dispose of an open alcoholic beverage in the car, according to authorities.
