The dogs were living in feces- and urine-filled cages with insufficient ventilation, New York State Police said Thursday, Aug. 13. Additionally, the dogs did not have immediate access to food or water, authorities said. Troopers responded to a complaint about the home in Argyle on Sunday, Aug. 9 around 1 p.m., according to state police.
