Prosecutor: Wanaque Police Shoot Domestic Violence Suspect

WANAQUE, N.J. -- Wanaque police shot a civilian during an overnight domestic violence call Tuesday, authorities confirmed.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said her office's Shooting Response Team was investigating the 2 a.m. incident, which caused a minor injury, in the Rainbow Lake section.

Further details were forthcoming.

"The scene has been secured and the investigation is active and ongoing," Valdes said Tuesday morning.
