150K Gallons Of Sewage Pour Into Swan Creek After Pipe Break
More than 150,000 gallons of untreated wastewater found its way into a Maryland creek before crews could shut it down. The sanitary sewer overflow was detected at the Swan Creek Wastewater Pumping Station on West Tantallon Drive in Fort Washington, Prince George’s County, according to WSSC Water. It took crews just over an hour to stop the flow. Allegiant Adds Premium Seating As Airlines Push More Upscale Options
Allegiant Air is adding first-class seats to some of its planes as the budget carrier expands its premium offerings. The Las Vegas-based airline will introduce Allegiant First on select planes beginning in spring 2027, the company announced in a news release. More than 1 million rechargeable hand warmers are being recalled after hundreds of people suffered burns and one person died. OCOOPA Direct recalled about 1.5 million of its hand warmers, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, July 30.
