Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 1. Clocks across most of the US will turn back to 1 a.m., according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The return to standard time means lighter mornings and earlier evening darkness by the clock. It also adds an extra hour that night, potentially giving you more time to sleep.
