A New York woman and Chinese national has been federally indicted after prosecutors accused her of running an alleged sex trafficking operation out of residential brothels in the Boston area.
Zengzeng Liu, 40, of Flushing, New York, also known as "Bella," is accused of managing an international operation beginning no later than August 2025. A 62-year-old retired Army staff sergeant from New Jersey was shot and killed in Florida following a dispute over a parking space on Tuesday, June 30, authorities said.
At 12:28 p.m., officers responded to a Walmart in North Lauderdale and found Bart Diguglielmo, a Hammonton native, suffering from a gunshot wound, Broward Sheriff's Office said. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
