The collision happened in the eastbound lanes near Linglestown Road in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, around 10:20 p.m., according to the Susquehanna Township Police Department. Roy Daniels died in the explosion at his home in the 100 block of Juniata Parkway East in Howe Township early Wednesday, Sept. 30, according to the Perry County Coroner's Office.
